After using three-phase asynchronous motor for a period of time, regular maintenance must be carried out to ensure the smooth progress of follow-up work, so as to avoid failure affecting the work progress. So what should we pay attention to during maintenance? Today, the editor will summarize the following four points.

1. Reduce bearing failure

Motor bearing faults include: relative movement between inner sleeve and sleeve and end cover; clearance between diameter and shaft exceeds the allowable value; ball (column) is severely worn and damaged locally, falling off and pockmarks or even broken; bearing frame activity, etc. if any of the above faults are found, it shall be carefully repaired until the qualified new bearing is replaced.

2. Replace the lubricating oil (grease)

During maintenance, all the lubricating oil (grease) of the bearing shall be removed, cleaned with gasoline (or detergent), dried with clean white cloth, and the corresponding and qualified lubricating oil (grease) shall be replaced according to the rotation speed and use of the motor.

3. Replace the damaged blades

The fan blade is the cooling part of the motor. It is found that it is damaged. The fan blade of the same specification and model should be replaced; the self-made fan blade should pay special attention to the blade's torsion angle and should not be changed into an electric fan, which will increase the motor's operation load.

4. Ensure assembly quality

When assembling the motor, special attention shall be paid to check the concentricity of the rotor stator. After installation, the rotor shall rotate freely slightly. The difference between the average value and the clearance between the stator and the rotor measured at the four points (upper, lower, left and right) shall not be greater than 5% of the average value.
